Letiště Praha, a. s., with its registered seat at: K letišti 1019/6, Ruzyně, Prague 6, Post Code: 161 00, Company Reg. No.: 282 44 532, registered in the Commercial Register administered by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Entry 14003, (hereinafter referred to as “the Administrator”) hereby provides information to the participant of “the 13th SAFETY and SECURITY CONFERENCE PRAGUE 2019 (Air Transport Security 2019 + Safety Conference 2019)“ (hereinafter referred to as “the Conference”), i.e. a personal data subject (hereinafter referred to as “the Conference Participant”) pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as “the GDPR”).  

Purpose of Personal Data Processing

Personal Data is obtained directly from the Conference Participant at the time of submission of their Conference enrolment form. The Administrator hereby undertakes to process the precise personal data strictly for the purpose of:

  • Organising the conference and the Conference Participant’s attendance, including forwarding information regarding the Conference; the reason for the provision of personal data by a Conference Participant to the Administrator is their interest in attending the conference, which would not be possible without the data provision. Failure to provide personal data by the Conference Participant may result in the participant’s inability to attend the Conference.

The Administrator hereby undertakes not to process the personal data obtained in a way which conflicts with the above-mentioned purposes.

Extent of Processed Personal Data:

The Administrator undertakes to process personal data only to the extent necessary in relation to the above-mentioned purposes. The extent of processed personal data is as follows:

  • Name and surname
  • Company
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address

(hereinafter “personal data”).

Personal Data Processing Period

The Administrator will process the personal data received for the above-mentioned purposes for the period of two (2) years from the date the data is submitted by the Conference Participant. The Administrator is obliged to delete the data thereafter.

Categories of Personal Data Recipients and Personal Data Transfers

The Administrator declares that personal data will be made available only to the relevant Administrator employees who are required to maintain confidentiality of such data and of security measures, the disclosure of which would jeopardise the security of the personal data in question.

The Administrator also declares that the personal data received for the above-mentioned purposes will also be made available to Vysoká škola obchodní v Praze, o.p.s. (the University of Business in Prague), with its registered seat at: Prague 1 – Nové Město, Spálená 76/14, Post Code: 110 00, Company Reg. No.: 264 41 021, registered in the Commercial Register administered by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section O, Entry 207 (hereinafter referred to as “the VSO”) and to České vysoké učení v Praze (Fakulta dopravní) (Czech Technical University in Prague, the Faculty of Transportation Sciences), with its registered seat at: Konviktská 20, Prague 1, Post Code: 110 00 (hereinafter referred to as “the CVUT”), as the VSO and the CVUT co-organise the Conference with the Administrator.

The Administrator further declares that personal data will not be shared with third countries and/or international organisations.

Automated Individualised Decision Making and Profiling

Automated individualised decision making and profiling pursuant to Art. 22 of the GDPR will not be performed during the Conference Participant’s personal data processing.

Rights of Personal Data Subject

The Administrator hereby informs the Conference Participant of their rights pursuant to the GDPR, primarily:

  • Right to Personal Data Access (The data subject has the right to receive a confirmation from the Administrator as to whether their personal data are processed pursuant to Art. 15 of the GDPR.)
  • Right to Rectification (The data subject has the right to require the Administrator to correct their inaccurate personal data without undue delay and to request their incomplete personal data are completed pursuant to Art. 16 of the GDPR.)
  • Right to Erasure (The data subject has the right to require the Administrator to delete their personal data without undue delay if one of the reasons pursuant to Art. 17 of the GDPR is met.)
  • Right to Limit the Processing (The data subject has the right to require the Administrator to limit the processing of their personal data in cases stipulated by Art. 18 of the GDPR.)
  • Right to Objection (On grounds relating to their particular situation, the data subject has the right to object to their personal data processing pursuant to Article 6, chapter 1, letters e) or f) of the GDPR, including profiling based on these provisions under Article 21 of the GDPR.)
  • Right Not to Be Subject to Automated Individual Decision-making, Including Profiling (The data subject has the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them.)
  • Right to File a Complaint with the Supervisory Office, i.e. the Office for Personal Data Protection, with its registered seat at: Pplk. Sochora 727/27, Post Code: 170 00, Prague 7.

Personal Data Protection Officer

Pursuant to Art. 30, chapter 1, letter a) of the GDPR, the Administrator hereby provides the Conference Participant with contact details of the Personal Data Protection Officer.

Final Provision

The Conference Participant hereby declares that he/she has been duly informed by the Administrator of the processing of personal data pursuant to the provisions of Art. 13 of the GDPR and that the personal data provided are accurate and true.
